Your crown goes through a milling process before our dentist removes it from the CEREC equipment and places it on your tooth. Before that can happen, your dentist needs to remove a portion of your tooth enamel and alter its structure to ensure that the crown fits snugly over the tooth. Your tooth will come to a point rather than lie flat. Your dentist then applies adhesive to the crown, attaches it, and makes sure that it creates a good fit that does not alter your overall tooth alignment.
